I'm Back! (With a new little man in my life!)

I'm still here!!! This past year has been a whirlwind of craziness! I stepped away from my blog for a while because I had a ton going on. Still trying to figure out how to juggle it all, but I'm hoping to do better!!  Here's a quick rundown of what has been going on in my world! 

First off...War Eagle!  We had such an incredible season this past year and I cannot wait for the upcoming season! I'm so proud of all the coaches but especially proud of my guy below!

I was 29 weeks here.  Going through football season pregnant was rough!  It gets so hot in Alabama and having to walk the stairs of the stadium each week was humorous to say the least.  I had MAJOR back problems throughout my pregnancy.  Little man did not give his mama break.  I even had to miss (GASP) a football game.  I was devastated.  Moving on...

I was given a beautiful shower by the wonderful coaches wives!

We won the SEC Championship!  Mr. Coach and I.  So proud of this man.  

My mom completed the nursery for me just in time for my little dude's arrival!

Hutchinson Neal Clark

Born December 20, 2013

6lbs. 3 oz. 19 1/2 inches.

We call him Hutch!

11 short days later we headed off to the National Championship in Pasadena.  Many called me crazy for going but I couldn't miss this time in my husband's life!

My mom came with me for the week and helped out!  Even though it was a sad loss, we had such a great week and it was the most amazing thing to experience!  Proud to be an Auburn Tiger!

Now I have a 7 month old little bundle of joy!

And now you know why I have been a little absent for the past year.  

Teachers start back Tuesday and kids start back the 11th. This summer flew by!  I'm teaching 1st grade again and can't wait to meet my new bunch on Thursday at Meet the Teacher!

Hey everyone!  School starts Monday and I am all kinds of excited to get this year underway!  My classroom is all ready for a new batch of 1st graders!  My heart is happy!  Here is a peek in to my classroom!

Those blue cabinets you see are the ONLY storage I have in this classroom.  I had to bring a lot of things home unfortunately to store.  But I am pleased with how the room turned out!

Lots of blank bulletin boards but that will change in coming weeks!  My room is huge and I love it!

Update!!!

I promise I'm still alive! Here is a glimpse into what I've been doing!!!

I got a job!!! So thankful! I will be teaching 1st grade at a fabulous school! I am so excited and blessed to be working with such an amazing group of ladies! 

My room was a blank slate when I walked in. But I have made some major improvements and I will be back tomorrow to show you some updated pictures! The before and after is amazing! Meet the teacher is on Thursday so it has to be done!  

I'll also be back to tell you if I'm having a boy or girl! I'm 21 weeks now! Woohoo!

Alabama Blogger Meet Up and Currently July

Today I got the pleasure of meeting some fabulous Alabama bloggers!  Y'all I cannot tell you how much fun I had with all of these talented teachers!  

There was a lot of teacher talk but a whole lotta eating! We ate at Chuy's Mexican Restaurant. This pregnant gal ate way too much but I just couldn't stop. The creamy jalapeño dip was to die for.

After we ate our popsicles we went to Hobby Lobby to do some shopping.  I was good and didn't buy anything.  But you better believe that I wanted to!  I had so much fun and these ladies are all contributors as to why I began blogging in the first place!  They seriously inspire you!  I feel blessed by meeting every one of them!

Listening: Love me some Mumford and Sons.  Seriously it puts me in such a great mood.

Loving: Mr. Coach is on his short vacay but I am more than thrilled to get to spend some 1 on 1 time with him.  He works so hard and I'm glad he gets to relax a bit!

Thinking: Being pregnant, I know I need to go out and exercise.  But it's real hard when ice cream and sweets are what I am craving.  24/7!

Wanting: I CANNOT wait to find out what we are having!  4 weeks.  4 weeks people!!!  I was that child that would look for their christmas presents and I always tell people what I got them before I give it to them.  I'm terrible with surprises!

Needing:  I wore shorts yesterday.  It was depressing.  You may go blind if you were to stare at my legs for too long.  Yikes.

Well Mr. Coach and I are headed to South Georgia to visit his grandparents!  They live out in the middle of nowhere and there is no internet service!  EEK!  Let's see if I can make it!  Stay awesome friends!

Moved, A Surprise, and Alabama Blogger Meet-Up

Well I'm back!  I apologize for my lengthy absence.  But I have been BUSY!  Stick with me, it's a long post, but you'll be rewarded if you missed out on it the first time!

I finally got to move to Alabama to be with the hubs.  The move itself was comical.  Well lets back up a little.  This will explain my absence a little...
 me.  

Anywho, we said goodbye to Arkansas and hello to Alabama!  But the move was anything but smooth.  We hired movers to come and load the truck for us because I wasn't going to be of much help.  Mr. Coach was unable to come home because they had football camps but my wonderful dad came in town to help me and drive the truck.  Well, the movers were 4 hours late and then they were incredibly slow loading the truck.  We had to be in Alabama at 8:00 the next morning to meet Mr. Coach and the other movers to unload the truck.  We didn't leave Arkansas until 8:30 that night.  We arrived in Alabama at 6:30 the next morning.  EXHAUSTING!!!  Luckily I got to sit in a chair, on the front porch, and direct where everything went.  I said that I wanted to be every move if I was going to get the royal treatment like this!  haha.

We have everything moved in and my mom even came and stayed for a few days to help me decorate.  She is a genius when it comes to these things!  

I know I am not the only elementary teacher with this much stuff.  It's actually quite embarrassing.  The price you pay to have a fun classroom!  As I mentioned before I am still looking for a job.  I have a couple of leads but living in a college town it is extremely tough to come across a job!  So say a prayer because we need that awesome teacher insurance more than ever right now!  

What better way to get back into the groove of things than to go meet up with some amazing bloggers!  I am too pumped for this!  I can't wait to meet everyone that will be there.  Jennifer over a First Grade Blue Skies is the one putting this together!  I may have a little panic attack on my way there at meeting her.  Seriously though!  

Tomorrow begins the start of Mr. Coach's vacation so we are making a little trip up to Atlanta so we can go to lunch and then to IKEA!  Love that place.

I'm Still Here...Barely! Freebie Alert!

And then more packing at home.  I am moving on Friday!  Finally get to be reunited with Mr. Coach and I couldn't be more excited!

Summer Bucket List

I'm joining in on the fun and making my Summer Bucket list!  This an ongoing list.  There are too many to write down and bore you all with.  So this is a start!  

My Summer Bucket List...

1.  Packing Up this House!  School is out in 4 days!  The countdown to moving is on.  I have 3 weeks to get my house AND classroom packed up.  Teachers really have it bad.  We have to pack up way too much!  When you are a coaches wife, you end up packing up about every other year!  I can't wait to be with Mr. Coach in Alabama though!  It's 'bout time!

2.  Embarrassing to say, but I have had this pinned for like two years.  I have a slight jewelry obsession.  Mostly necklaces.  But like I always say, you don't look fat in jewelry and can't outgrow it.  Moving into a new place means I get to organize my jewelry in a new way too!  I am going to be on the lookout for this beauty.

3.  READ!  I feel like I never get to read any books during the school year.  I am not talking professional development books either.  I am talking chick-lit, mysteries, anything besides a picture book.  Sometimes you just need to read something for yourself!  I have a list of books that I want to read and can't wait to have some "me time"!

4. Finish up my last pack in the Common Core Crazy series!  This one will cover Algebraic Thinking and Operations.  I have been slowly working on it, but have completely lost my mojo.  If you find it, please let me know.  I want to get it done so then I can bundle it all together for a lower price!  

Well that is all I have.  This little blog has been neglected.  I promise it's for a good reason!  That is going to have to wait though!  Until next time friends!
